So this is what happened to all the Obama trainers after they got him elected in the USA! They set up “Democracy” training camps, probably in Chicago. And it also explains why the US debt is so high: we are giving these people pocket money!
I have always been fascinated by the decline and fall of the powerful. The struggle to hold power, the chaos of the moment, the occasional anarchy that follows are all fascinating but what runs through these guys heads? What ran through Ceauşescu’s mind in those last final days? What about the last Czar or the Louis 16? What is it like to have absolute power and suddenly lose it?

Absolutely. In fact there was a blog post via Al Jazeera that examined something to this effect. While it doesn’t, for obvious reasons, record the thoughts of the falling Mubarak, it does analyse the psychology of “strong leaders” during their final days, using Mubarak as an example.
"In modern states, the citizen is politically impotent. A citizen, it is true, may complain, make suggestions, or cause disruptions, but in the ancient world these were privileges that belonged to any slave." - Mark Mirabello
